Freestanding 4 Post Gantry Track System
The Guldmann four post gantry hoist is a state-of-the-art non-permanent lifting system designed to provide a safe and efficient way to lift and transfer patients with limited mobility. The freestanding structure has four vertical posts, traverse rail, and hoist unit that can be easily moved along the crossbeam.
The gantry hoist system is particularly useful in healthcare facilities, where patients with reduced mobility require assistance in moving from one place to another. It is height, length and width adjustable so it can be quickly installed without the need for permanent fixings. Once removed it leaves no marks or damage.
One of the key benefits of this system is its ease of use. The hoist unit can be operated by a single caregiver, who can easily manoeuvre the patient into the desired position. Additionally, it is designed to be comfortable and safe for the patient, with soft slings and harnesses providing support and stability.

A completely freestanding H frame hoist system
The four post gantry track system is an excellent option for short term or emergency hoisting requirements. Operators assemble it at chest height, (reducing manual handling risks), before raising the gantry up to its full height of 2.8 metres. The height can be set according to the building requirements meaning low ceilings do not cause any issues.
The gantry track system is completely free standing and requires no structural support from the ceiling or walls. Four adjustable height legs are provided for stability, and the whole system is constructed from lightweight aluminium, making it very easy to transport and assemble.
The bariatric gantry track system is supplied in a room covering, or ‘H’ frame configuration. It is length adjustable on site without the need for tools.

3.2 x 3.2 – 4.2 metres / 4.2 x 4.2 – 5.2 metres
The freestanding gantry track system is typically fitted with the GH1 Hoist which provides a safe and reliable hoist for the track.
The GH1 can have a SWL of either:
175kg (27.5 stone) / 200 kg (31.5 stone) / 250 kg (39.5 stone)
This range of weight limits creates the ideal solution for the heavier user and for use in situations where a mobile hoist is too heavy to push safely.
The GH1 is a battery powered hoist that charges via a plug in handset. No permanent electrical supply is required making the combination of hoist and gantry ideal for easy installation and removal.
Where a higher SWL is required, the GH1 hoist can be replaced by the GH3, with a lift capability of 350kg (55 stone). This opens up new possibilities for the safe moving and handling of bariatric patients.
The GH1 is fitted with a loop style spreader bar as standard. Subject to risk assessment, this spreader bar is compatible with most loop style slings.

Extra Small / Small / Medium / Bariatric
The two smaller versions make the hoisting of children very safe and secure.

The freestanding gantry track system is also available as a two post version, in a straight track configuration.

The four post gantry track system is on a 2 – 3 week delivery schedule, unless installation is required, it will be delivered via carrier direct to your door.

Standard Hoist
The four post gantry is fitted with a standard GH1 hoist with a SWL of either 175, 200 or 250kg to enable the heavier user to be hoisted.
Spreader Bar
The GH1 hoist is fitted with a standard loop spreader bar that is compatible with most loop slings, subject to a documented risk assessment.
Lift Height
The four post gantry features a very high lift height making it suitable for rehabilitation and walking exercises.
