This simple yet intuitive system reduces risk of injury – staff can maintain full eye and physical contact with the user throughout the whole transfer, it is also much faster than conventional systems, saving staff time and reducing hoisting time for the user.
The Combi Lock can be used in a variety of situations and with a SWL of 350kg it is ideal for the heavier user. When used in conjunction with our largest profile rail, spans of up to 8 metres can be achieved. The alignment of the tracks means that there are minimal bumps as the hoist travels through the gate, making for an extremely comfortable experience for the user.
Too often this equipment looks out of place in a modern care environment, however the new Combi Lock is designed with an emphasis on asethetics. The exterior design is smooth, blends in easily with the surrounding architecture, and is easy to clean.
Flexible
The Combi Lock can be used in conjunction with a sliding or standard door – when open the track sits flush through the doorframe, enabling the hoist to pass smoothly through.

Once the door is closed and the track moved away, only the track is visible through the door, reducing transmission of noise and odours from room to room.

When tracks are moved away, the safety gate automatically locks to prevent the hoist from unintentionally exiting the track.

Once the tracks are lined up, the gate opens automatically providing a smooth transfer between systems.
